Celebrating Love and Teamwork: How Intelliworx PH Found a Heartwarming Way to Celebrate Valentine’s Day

The Intelliworx PH company came up with an engaging activity to celebrate Valentine’s Day in the workplace. The first activity was the Valentine’s Mailbox, which allowed everyone in the office to share messages of appreciation for their loved ones, co-workers, and friends. The mailbox was available from February 1 to February 13, and all letters were handed over to their recipients on February 14 as part of the Valentine’s Day celebration. This activity provided a way for colleagues to show their appreciation and support for one another, and it created a positive and supportive environment within the workplace.

Another activity organized by the company was the Valentine’s Decor Contest. The contest was based on different criteria, including creativity, relevance to the theme, resourcefulness, cost-effectiveness, and presentation. This competition was a voting process, with 50% of the team’s total score based on votes and the other 50% based on guest judges’ scores. The management took into account each vote for the best decor and used this as part of the voting process. The competition required teams to collaborate in designing and decorating their assigned spaces, showcasing their creativity and teamwork.

This initiative positively impacted team relationships and morale, enabling colleagues to express appreciation and support for each other, resulting in a more productive and positive work environment. Additionally, they used their team funds, which were collected from their fundraising activities during each shift. Although the team encountered difficulties in managing their time and coordinating their efforts, their motivation and determination to win the competition served as a foundation for their strategy.

Despite these challenges, the team won one of the consolation prizes, which proved to be a valuable learning experience. They discovered that planning and executing their ideas effectively is crucial in all aspects of their work, including designing and participating in competitions. Moreover, expressing love and care towards their colleagues and clients serves as a significant source of inspiration in their field. They used crafted materials, lights, and fabrics to create a carpeted pathway to their designated area, which was marked with a sign that said “this way”. Despite difficulties with manpower and unity, the Creatives team worked on their design after shift hours and were able to create a relaxing and romantic atmosphere for their booth. They learned that it’s important to take breaks from work and prioritize quality time to build relationships and find inspiration in everyday life.

In the grand scheme of things, the Creatives team received a consolation prize for their efforts and gained valuable life lessons from their experience. Their booth design highlighted the importance of balance and reminded everyone of the need to take time for relaxation and quality time with loved ones.

Despite facing challenges, the VA team was declared the winner of the competition and received a cash prize. The team credited their success to their comfortable and collaborative work environment, as they shared and acknowledged each other’s ideas and worked together as a team.

Their ability to leverage personal items and work with what they had is a testament to their creativity and determination. The management team’s effort in creating a unique design in the lobby of the office reflects their commitment to fostering a positive work environment. Led by Ms. Denice, our operations supervisor, the team was able to come up with a creative and nostalgic theme that celebrates love, friendship, and appreciation. By including old pictures of all types of love in history, including the LGBT community, and vintage love letters and pictographs, the design creates an ambiance that is both genuine and nostalgic.

This initiative not only creates a festive atmosphere but also has a positive impact on the morale of employees. It serves as a reminder that the company values not just the work that employees do, but also their relationships with each other. This can lead to increased job satisfaction and improved productivity, as employees feel more valued and appreciated.

Furthermore, the theme of “Old school type of showing love” also highlights the importance of diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
